Hi, I just got into these three prestigious schools as Bio major (natural sciences)

I am aware that Rice is right next to Texas Medical Center, but I also hear from people that Haverford has one of the finest biology department in all lib arts colleges.
Berkeley is also a very well-known school, although it focuses more on its grad students.

I'm getting no financial aid from any of the colleges.

which one do you guys suggest?

Haverford would be a great choice!

Rice is actually going to merge with Baylor College of Medicine (one of the top 10 or 15 medical schools in the country), and yes, it’s literally right across the street from Texas Medical Center, the world’s largest medical district (over 40 hospitals).

I think the place with the best and most opportunities for internships and undergraduate research opportunities is clear.

Not to mention Rice’s 92% medical school acceptance rate.

In terms of finances, Rice is also $7-10k cheaper per year than comparable universities like Northwestern and WashU and was #4 or 5 on Princeton Review’s Best Value Private Colleges. Although I got into those universities (and other private universities like Emory), I’ll be saving $28-40k over my four years at Rice that I can use for medical school or another professional school that I wish.

Are you in-state for Berkeley? How expensive is Haverford for you compared to Rice and Berkeley?

If all things are equal (that is, you’re out-of-state for Berkeley), I would clearly go for Rice - it is, in my honest opinion, the best place you could be as a pre-med and also get the most bang for your buck, especially in these hard economic times.
