I didn’t get into UCSD got into berkeley fall.</p>
<p>The schools don’t come together to decide who gets in where. I know a girl who got into 'LA and Berkeley, but didn’t get into 'SD. That didn’t make sense to me, but the schools have different admissions processes.</p>

<p>Based on a quick manual scan of my chances dot net, I would put the correlation to 45%. But if you guys spend more time on it, you can make this number more accurate. Method I used was (flawed): how many people got accepted at ucsd. That is one easy search resulting in 115 profiles. Then go one by one through those profiles (ouch), and see how many got explicitly accepted at Berkeley. I took a sample of only 10 profiles. (Often times, those who get rejected do not bother to update the profiles.)</p>
