Berkeley vs. UCSD please help!

Berkeley vs. UCSD please help!
I know that for a lot of people this is considered as a no brainer, but for me I am really stuck. I want to be pre-med and I don't know which school is better. I know that Cal is THE #1 public university but I have been hearing really good things about UCSD's science courses and research. For Cal I got into the College of Letter and Sciences. For UCSD I got into Warren College for Human Biology. Which school should I choose?

[Also does it matter which college I got into at SD if I want to be pre-med? I've been hearing that it'd be better if I had gotten into Revelle...but in the end does it really matter because I'll still get to use all the resources of UCSD right?]

Please help! [I have visited both and I don't really know what to choose. I feel that Cal is more competitive and SD is more relaxed, but I still don't know which to choose]

Go to Berkeley…I went to UCSD and now I’m transferring out (hopefully to Berkeley)

*Side note: I also got admitted to both UCSD and Berkeley

If you’re planning to do Pre-Med, I had a friend who chose UCSD over UCLA & Berkeley because of the classes offered at UCSD. Especially at Warren, the GE courses are more geared toward science so by your junior year, you’ll be in good shape to study your major.

She came back to talk to us high school kids and told us that if your plan is to head to med school, it doesn’t matter where you’re graduating from undergrad, but the classes and material you get from it. But also take into consideration the environment and such.

But if I were you, I’ll pick UCSD for pre-med. Any other major and I’d be iffy about it.

Cal and UCSD’s pre-med programs are pretty much on the same academic field. So go to a college that you think you’ll be happier at. Visit both campuses (if you haven’t yet) and get a sense of each social environment. UCSD is near SD while Cal is near SF, and both cities differ very much in terms of culture, diversity, and the overall social atmosphere.
