For me, Berklee College of Music is my top choice. It has everything I want in a school and a name that is respected in the Music Industry. I am interested in auditioning for the Performance major (vocals specifically) and Production major. What were the requirements this year for either major this years auditions and how selective are they overall in there admissions? Also, what is the audition the main factor to getting in, or are there other components or activities they look at that might help you get accepted? Thank you.

the auditions aren’t major specific, but primary instrument specific. they are pretty selective, probably less than 30% get accepted. they look at everything, application, grades, audition. the components of the audition are your chosen song, sight reading/singing, ear training, improvisation. and also an interview is conducted when you audition.
