best 1 week business programs

What are some of the more prestigious business summer camps? I saw LEAD was solid but, as a white student, it looks more geared toward minorities. I'm a solid student (~90th percentile at a strong public school) but I can only do a week long camp because of basketball and work.

I’ve yet to see any significant program that lasts only a week long. Even if it is a week long program, you must factor in time for getting prepared, flying, etc. so it is probably best that you just skip the summer program this year. Having a job is better than doing a summer program anyways.

ok. is there any good business programs that last 3 weeks or less?

Having a business program camp is better than having a job, you get experience, knowledge, connections. Instead of just working you attain opportunities, if it’s or just one week or 3 weeks, pick the training/camp over the job, especially if the job is really just for extra money (if you live with parents and are a HS student lol). What type of camp did you have in mind? What field?

anything business related whether marketing, finances, etc interests me. i love writing as well but im in AP english and we dont have any advanced business classes at my high school so I want to take advantage of an opportunity for challenging business work. I really love my job though and I’m on varsity basketball and we have some preseason games over the summer so I do need to be in my hometown of NY for at least 6 weeks of the summer. And if a program fits my needs, I’m willing to go anywhere in the country to attend.

Yes, I love all that you love. I love everything related to finance, business, etc… I also LOVE basketball and would kill to go to NY! Haha, I go for lakers though :). I’m also in AP English and love writing. I’m a junior and I’ve been researching investment banking. I love that, I want to become an investment banker. Though most programs for investment banking are for undergrads and grads, I’ve been thinking of taking some of the programs, ex. Training The Street, ibbanking, etc… You should research investment banking or what you want to become when your older. Since your willing to go anywhere in US I’m guessing, you pretty much have endless opportunities. Good luck! And tell me what camp you find, I might go :slight_smile: (if it’s in Texas lol).

Georgetown offers one that is about a week long

@Urstruly
Would they offer scholarships? $2,100 tuition, I work but only at McDonalds… Can’t afford that at all!

On their website they mention something about a scholarship that you can apply for.
Here is the application for it for it: http://kbpublisher.gu-scs.com/kb_file/2011%20Scholarship%20Application2_110208155306.pdf
