What are some universities that have high transfer rates into Wharton undergraduate?
I doubt that any colleges have “high transfer rates,” given how low the overall acceptance rate is. I would be surprised to learn that the transfer acceptance rate isn’t at least as low as the freshman rate is.
Search the college newspaper, most have articles on transfer students.
In the 2014-2015 school year, the transfer admission rate to the University of Pennsylvania was 8.6% (Section D2 of the [2014-2015 Common Data Set](http://www.upenn.edu/ir/Common%20Data%20Set.html)). Given that Wharton is generally regarded as the best undergraduate business school in the country and presumably receives more applications than many other divisions, I would guess its acceptance rate is even lower. Keep in mind that the transfers who apply to the University of Pennsylvania are typically well qualified academically.
For these reasons I would strongly encourage you not to choose a four year school on the basis of getting into Wharton as a transfer. There is at least a 91.4% chance you will be rejected.
Penn Cas.
**** Penn cas is probably the worst place to go to transfer into Wharton. Penn is wise to the game of people applying to CAS and then thinking they can transfer into Wharton which is even more selective. For this reason internal transfers into Wharton are extremely rare for Penn students.
As others mentioned the transfer acceptance rate is very low so there is no school that would give you a great shot at transferring into Wharton.
Post #5, if you follow the Penn forum, there are successful transfers to Wharton from CAS. of course the rate is low every where because the admit rate to Wharton is low.
I’d say your best bet is to be a 4.0 in another elite undergraduate business program, like Notre Dame. But if you’re a 4.0 at Notre Dame, I don’t think you need to transfer.
