Best 5 U.S. presidents

bush just ignores them and goes to chop wood

he doenst chop wood..... he drinks alcohol and gets drunk

How do you know that? Are you there at the White House to verify this fact? I'm not a Bush fan, and I tried voting him out, but I'm not going to make ANY statement that is untrue unless I can verify it with at least significant evidence. I've read a few accounts, but so far I haven't been impressed.

To blame any one person for 9/11 is simply absurd and fails to take into account the nature of the attack itself.

but I'm not going to make ANY statement that is untrue unless I can verify it with at least significant evidence

Everyone know that Bush is an alcoholic. He admitted so himself.

ooo i forgot eisenhower! add him to my top 5 even though i have 6 in there already :p

lots of democrats on this thread...i am one too
1.Lincoln
2.FDR
3.Washington
4.Teddy Rosevelt
5. Jefferson

"I'm not a Bush fan, and I tried voting him out, but I'm not going to make ANY statement that is untrue unless I can verify it with at least significant evidence"

ahah...ahaHAHAHA so how do you liberals explain the newsweek article?
I know you were talking about yourself personally but it seems most liberals love to lie just like primitive.....and besides just because you are an alcoholic does not mean you drink it means there is a high risk you will start to drink.

So primitive what are you trying to say? Making fun of alcoholics is not a very good idea....my neighbor is an alcoholic and he'd find your statement pretty offensive because he hasnt taken a drink in 2 years (or sumthing like that)

ok will EVERYONE stop negatively stereotyping liberals and conservatives! it's soooo anoying...just because some1 holds an opposing viewpoint doesn't mean you have to stereotype the entire group!...believe it or not there are both intellegent liberals and conservatives, and anyone that tries to use ideology to try to make someone appear unintellegent is absolutely ignorant and the real unintellegent one

Actually just to point out, I'm a republican... However I do acknowledge that there have been execellent presidents from both parties.

notice how i said i liked LBJ

LBJ was a good President....i just don't like how ppl are constantly bashing others of opposing poliitcal ideology

This thread is officially stupid. Partisan hackery is the worst.

primitivefuture always tries to belittle his opposing debaters no matter what their points are.

"How do you know that? Are you there at the White House to verify this fact?"

he wasnt at the white house
he was at his ranch. this is coming from condi's testimony in front of the 9/11 commission

That's a little better. But I think it's pretty obvious that Bush knows how to make up for his limitations: By hiring people who know better than him.

Eisenhower was notorious for this.

eisenhower also warned against the very military industrial complex which bush has embraced

No argument here. But then again, you know which president probably accelerated the military-industrial complex the most?

Kennedy.

ummm.... Reagan was the one with the greatest deficits created in part by the sci-fi adventure known as star wars.

I think there is something seriously wrong with our country when the defense department spends around 500 billion dollars a year, osme of which goes to 400 toilet seats

Right...but Kennedy set up the largest increase in military spending in the post WWII period.

Democrats aren't doves, they're just hawks in doves clothing.

I would prefer doves in hawks clothing to chickenhawks who are tough only for other people.

ohhhh diss sempitern owned you so bad!!! he brought out the old prefer card wo0t!

(I thought this debate was supposed to be factual only?)
