From what I have read on this site and have heard in my school the red book is good as well as Barrons 36and the PR Cracking the ACT.
I would also like a score in that area or even higher. My scores were

C:26E:26M:26R:26S:24 and the writing was a 25 8/12.

I’m a soon to be junior so I believe I have a reasonable amount of time to reach my goal. What are you a freshman, sophmore, junior?

I’m a rising senior so i dont have that much time to prep . but i just want to take it again in case i do better on the ACTs than the SATs

Oh, i completely understand. I think I’ll be satisfied with a 30 but a 32+ is what I’m shooting for? I’m black and people have been saying that high scores on these test especially by black people gives an advantage.

@LDGQQQ I am actually in the same boat you are in except my scores are a little more spread out.
C: 26
E: 30
M: 27
R: 20
S: 25

What I have used is the Red Book, PR Cracking the ACT, PR 1296 ACT Questions, Barrons ACT 36, and Mcgraw Hill 10 Practice ACT Tests. All have been very good so these are the ones I would recommend. I am a African American incoming senior as well and i definitely want a higher ACT score because it will make me more competitive.

Yea definitely!! I hope that all of my scores being so close together is a good thing. Do you all think so???
