Best ACT prep book?

I took the June ACT and got a 28.

E: 35
M: 26 (ran out of time :/ )
R: 28
S: 22 (i know) any tips would be helpful here

I'm taking it for the last time in September for at least a 33. Fingers crossed!! Anyway, I bought the Red Book for my last test and never got through it all and I'm currently dissecting it. However, I want more practice, especially in the science and math sections . Which books are the best to get my score to at least a 33?

Here are some I'm considering:

PR 1,296: sounds appealing but does it have explanations for all the questions?
Barron's regular book: It is apparently harder than the real test. I'm not sure whether that is helpful or not.

What do y'all think? Thanks!

The kaplan books are always great but that red book is good for science. I git my science score moved up to a 34 so maybe you can get similar results. How did you get your english grade so high? That is always my worst section

I hadn’t gotten to the science section of the book yet so maybe that’s why my score sucked haha. I think with English, the main thing is to always pick the simplest answer! If two sound right, pick the simpler one. When I realized that, the scores came up.
