Best ACT Prep Book

Which company makes a best ACT prep book??? I know the "official SAT study guide" is the good book to have for the SAT takers but how about ACT??? I heard that Kaplan's ACT prep book is not good... is that true??

Also, if someone used the new "Real ACT Prep Guide" by ACT staff, I want reviews for it.

I need to know this as well. I need to buy a book really soon. As in sometimes in between this weekend and the one after. I've seen so many, but no one has really discussed them much

Don't by Kaplan's ACT Prep. After using it my math actually declined.

haha- and as math as my weakness, I think I'll stay away

the official ACT Guide has explanations for all the questions. very nice thing

how about Princeton Review???

I thought Kaplan was great! I got a cd-rom program by them from the library. It was kinda cheesy, but cute and helpful. scored 35.

wow... that's high score... how long did you study for ACT???>lindsaylu

man...do I have a lot of books to buy, from ap bio prep book, ap comp sci textbook and prep book, ap euro prepbook, act prep book and an sat prep book

u dont have to take SAT and ACT

yes I do....

how come ?

Does anyone use the "real ACT prep guide"?

it''s only real use is the practice tests. It's the ACT version of the SAT's 10 Real SAT's (except you only get 3 tests(but explanations for each answer))
I skimmed through their review for the writing section (I amtutoring someone) and it was not that great. if you want tips, tricks, or anything beyond real practice tests, go with Princeton Review

Does anybody have past real ACT tests that they will sell me ? Please send me a private message. Thanks.
