Best ACT prep books to improve from 30 to 34?

I have finished the Red book, and I am currently hovering around a 30. I am planning to buy princeton review's 1296 questions and Barron's 36.

I need one more test prep guide to do before the Barron's 36!

I am currently thinking either Dissecting the ACT 2.0, or Cracking the ACT.

Can anyone please help?

Hands down Barron’s 36. I got from 30 to 36 on both math and science.

Barron’s 36 is very small book. Meaning it has very few pages compare to all the other ACT books out there. I wonder how it is able to cover all the basics. Can someone point out how ACT 36 helps? May be it’s content is of high quality so quantity doesn’t matter???

Don’t forget that most prep book has at least 2 practice test. The 36 does not have any on it. The practice test + answer explanation makes the other books really big.

It helps even though doesn’t cover the basics because people aiming that high normally already have the basics covered. Basically, it picks up where the Red Book leaves off (kinda like a supplemental book). It does have a lot of helpful tricks and strategies for each section that the Red Book doesn’t teach to help people maximize their scores. I would definitely recommend the the 36 book if you are at a 30 and have already finished the Red Book! It will help you get a few more points. However, you may want to obtain some more practice tests so that you can practice using the ACT 36 strategies.
