My daughter is going to be taking her first ACT test in April. She is going to take a prep course beginning the end of February, but I would also like to get her some prep books so she can work at her own pace at home. There is so much information out there on the internet, and it is so confusing to determine which prep books are the best that actually work to help you prepare for the ACT. I thought I would start a thread here to get some advice from everyone here to see if we could get a list going on what are the best ACT Prep books. Also, I have seen some ACT Prep books that focus solely on the essay portion of the test. Are those worth it or not? So, in your opinion, what are the must have ACT Prep books that actually help students make a real impact on their ACT scores? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!

Jeeze, you didn’t have to make so many threads! You could have asked several questions in one… but get The Real ACT, Barrons 36, the Princeton Review and McGraw Hill.

Yes, I have all of these ^ and they are great.
