Hey i've taken the act once without any preparation and only scored a composite score of 29

english-25
Math-36
Reading-25
Science-30

which i am not proud of at all. I know i can do better with the right preparation, so i was just wondering what is the best ACT prep out there. Particularly for English, Reading, and Science I think my math is pretty decent. Thought of asking here since most guys here have lots of experience, thanks for your time.

is english your second language?

haha no it is not 1finite, although i know it may seem like it is with my score lol.

Well in my opinion, the best prep for the ACT is just practice. As silverturtle said in a different thread, approaching problems strategically on the ACT is far less important then on the SAT. So your time will be better spent practicing rather than trying to “crack” the test. Just get Princeton review 1296 ACT problems and the red book. Practice with the PR book and test yourself with the red, and your score should go up

Thank you!! thats great advice and i’ll be sure to do that.
When you say the red book, do you mean the real act prep guide??
