Best acting programs on the east coast(or anywhere)?

<p>As of now, my top choice school for a BFA in acting is SUNY Purchase. I want to go there extremely badly, as it might be obvious as all my posts have been about Purchase lol. Anyway, the problem is that Purchase is pretty much the only school I've looked into.</p>

<p>What are some other good school for an acting degree? More specifically on the east coast or more midwest? Not too far west though, I probably wouldn;t be able to lol</p>

<p>It depends on what degree you want. If you want to stick to a BFA, look at NYU, BU, CMU, Julliard, even Michigan if that’s not too far away for you. There are also plenty of great liberal arts schools that offer BA’s in Theatre if you’re interested in a more academic setting.</p>

<p>Purchase is considered a top or the top conservatory, but I agree about BU, CMU, and Juilliard. I know people who are also enjoying Pace.</p>
