Best Advice to get a 12 Essay!

<p>I just got my SAT scores today (2400, by the way), and I'm ecstatic that I got a score of 12 on my essay. I wanted to share my preparation method for the essay. </p>

<p>I took the ACT a few weeks before the SAT. I practiced for everything except the essay, thinking that it would be a piece of cake. It turned out to be extremely stressful, and my lack of confidence and practice showed in my essay score (8).</p>

<p>I searched these forums for the most clear, concise essay advice. I stumbled upon AcademicHacker's "How to Write a 12 Essay in Just 10 Days". Disregarding the title, it's the best advice I could have ever taken.
