all I'm saying is that just because it's not in your face, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

by the way I stroll down Bruinwalk everyday... i know the pride of this school. I have 3 sweaters...just because i don't wear it everyday doesn't mean i don't wear it at all.

wharton has a similar alumni network structure as USC (where you can search for alum willing to help new grads, etc.) - except with more qualified & successful alums. :)

... and graceless. Often even more stupid because your grammar is atrocious.

"My school is better, yours suck."

Look, butterfish, you really are the classic example of the Bruin that all the Trojans hate. You never want to acknowledge ANYTHING good about USC. You will CONTEST to the end anything good said about USC. You will always flaunt the "superiority" of UCLA, when, in the end, as you said yourself, you always feel as if "it's a third rate school" anyway. Whoopee.

Megastud, myself and many other USC students on this site DO NOT DERIDE UCLA. We can say it's somewhat overrated, that some of its programs are definitely not tops, and that some of its programs are lesser than USC's. But I don't see any Trojans saying straight-out that UCLA just sucks. Only you and a few other Bruins seem to enjoy doing so.

No one is saying USC is the best school on earth. But it is almost always sneering Bruins who will say it is the worst school on earth. Do they make all freshman students take a "How to be a Graceless A**wipe 101" class out in Westwood, or something? I've always wondered.

Butterfish: are you as much of an offensive loser in real life as you are on CC?

It doesn't matter if butterfish meant this sarcastically. If taken literally, it is the most brilliant thing he or she has ever written on this thread and quite possibly on this entire messageboard. It is even possible to be the last brilliant thing she or he writes, too.

I never thought there would ever be any reason to ever write this, but "Bravo, butterfish."

this is just for everyone in general, but could you guys please have a little more class when arguing. if someone tries to put down a certain school, you don't have to put that person down, but rather just formulate arguments that are relevant to defend the claims. i think that'll make CC a bit more friendly and less hostile, cuz regardless of who initiated the put down, there's always someone else who wants to defend their school AND put down that person in return at the same time. i'd appreciate if you just defended the school and be more classy. thanks.

p.s. don't get all defensive about how you were being the classy one and the other person was not.

alwaysthere,
my post was originally intended for at least two people, but since i didnt want to point them out, i just made it in general. but i'd personally like CC to be a little bit more friendly, that's all, or at least lay off the ad hominems.
