What would you guys say is the best and worst thing about college?

Best--learning new things and meeting new people
Worst--the initial week or two of adjustment

Best: Having much more freedom to do and study what you want. Plus, the extra flexibility and free time compared to high school, as long as you don't have a jam packed schedule.

Worst: This is particular to large universities, but being overwhelmed by the enormity of the student body and college campus can make you feel really anonymous and like a number. But the campus and atmosphere shrinks down after a few weeks and after you make some friends.

best - freedom

worst - everyone there is on your level. If you were the top kid in high school, most likely, you won't be again during the next 4 years.

Best- late night pizza parties with suitemates
Worst- Sitting in a huge lecture hall with a prof who can't speak English

Best -- being able to set your own schedule from scratch, and change it whenever you feel like it

Worst -- succombing to procrastination urges; starting a paper the night before it's due and knowing in advance that the finished product will not be your best work

FinalGear is 100% right...but here are some of my own...

Best...last time before you have to go to real world..enjoy it.

Worst...Professors that suck and make you regret having ever signing up for their course..do I sound bitter! Why do you think drinking beer is so popular..to dull the pain profs wreak on students sad pathetic salve to the grade lives.

I need more beer.
