Best and worst

This is a pretty simple question- what did you love about Brown? What did you wish was different?

This is meant to be a broad question. I guess anything that stood out for you or surprised you (good or bad) at Brown would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

Well, of course there’s the reasons that attract most people: the open curriculum, the diversity, and the liberal vibe. And I want a top education.
A couple of the things that really made me love Brown are a)the varsity equestrian team. It’s NCAA Division One, competitive, and based out of a really nice stable. There seems to be a great camaraderie between members and it’s incredibly well-funded. (Unlike Princeton, UPenn, etc., who aren’t terribly well-funded OR competitive from what I’ve gathered.)
The fact that I can do more than an English major with a Theatre minor, which is what I thought I’d end up having to settle for. I’m applying for a double conc. in Literary Arts and Theatre/Performance Studies - Theatre Arts track.
The huge array of amazing, unique (and sometimes kind of weird) student groups on campus. If I get accepted, I can join a sea-shanty singing a capella group, aptly named ARRR! How freakin’ cool is that!?
There are sooo many other reasons, but those are a couple of my biggies ;)

this has been discussed many times in the last few years
