Best AP Books

Can anyone recommend the best Spanish and English AP book. My D prefers to use just 1 book for each if possible. Any thoughts?

bump any thoughts

your an amazing mom for being on this forum :)

Which english? Lit or Lang?

I'd actually like help with the Spanish and Lit, if anybody knows.

Anyway, I took the Spanish SAT II, and I used Barron's. It is extremely difficult compared to the real exam. I was making about 530-570 on the Barron's, but made a 680 with extra time on the real exam. I imagine that their AP book is just as good. The best prep for any language exam though, is to just read as much as possible and jot down words you don't know. This helped out a lot for my SAT II.

Mekrob it is for AP Eng Lang. I'll check out Barron's.Thanks tigeruppercut, my D asked me to pick her up a book for each. She is the type that has great grades but does not do well with stan. testing. She clawed her way with SAT's from a 1210 to 1290 to finally 1320 . She is ready to start on AP's and is just hoping the rest of her stats makes up for her SAT. She is actually pretty happy to make it out of the 1200s. Thanks for all your help

my son liked to do more AP practice exams than 1 book typically has. We generally bought 2 books so that he would have extra practice exams. That also let him read the first chapter in each and decide which one he preferred to use for review.

Thanks Texas 137, will check that out

For Spanish, (I'm assuming that D is taking Spanish Language) use Master the AP Spanish Language...it has a good review of all the vocab D needs...
For English, use 5 steps to a 5.

Thanks lilluverblossom, you guys are the greatest!
