Best AP Books?

I am in 5 AP classes and was curious on what books/study guides are the best for each:

Statistics
Physics C: Mechanics
English Language
US History
Psychology

I want to go to Georgetown, which doesn't offer credit for APUSH, so I might not take the AP exam; but in case I do . . .

Uh, you might want to check out the thread on Consolidated book suggestions for AP (it’s at the top!) but I copied some stuff from there.

Best for Complementing Class

Legend:

H - Helpful in preparing for tests throughout the year, apart from the actual exam.
N - Not strictly a review book (can be used to teach material, and not just to review it).
T - Teacher recommendation.
P - Practice tests included.

Statistics - Princeton Review (T, P)
Physics C: Mechanics - Barron’s (H, N, P)
English Language and Composition – Princeton Review (T, P)
U.S. History - Amsco, REA
Psychology - Barron’s (H, N, T, P)

Actually I think you should take AP classes you’re actually interested in.

I think you should use Barrons for Statistics. If you read through most of that thread, the general consensus is Barrons.

Princeton Review has never steered me wrong; I would trust it for any AP exam
