Best AP Compartive Politics Book?

What do you guys think the best AP Compartive Politics Book is (thats not $100)?

Do you mean prep book or text book. For prep book, I suggest Ethel Woods Guide to Comparative Government, I have it and it has gotten really good reviews on this site. For a textbook I recommend http://www.amazon.com/Comparative-Politics-Domestic-Responses-Challenges/dp/0495159751/sr=8-5/qid=1159393296/ref=sr_1_5/102-7699052-2100146?ie=UTF8&s=books. Hope I helped :)

well i had a friend who self studied for this test by just reading one really great book and did very well. i guess i was just curious about what book it was. Could I just read Ethel Woods book and test? im taking AP Gov/took ap english and have decent experience with international stuff.... or is this the kind of subject where you actually need the course (ie ap calc or chem)

I am self-studying as well, I think if you read Ethel Wood's Guide and outline, also, read newspapers and watch international news. That is what I am doing. So basically, to answer your question, no, you do not need the actual course.

haha great good luck to you
