I'm taking the AP exams for chemistry, U.S. history, calculus AB and possibly english language and composition. What are the best test prep books for those individual subjects? If you've taken one or more of them what test prep book did you use and how did you do?

For APUSH, use Amsco’s book and Crash Course. Killer combo. Use the Amsco book throughout the year, and Crash Course everyday for a week or so before the test.

Chemistry- I have Princeton Review and it looks good. However, Barron’s has a bunch of practice tests, so you might want that.
APUSH- Ditto smorgasbord. That will get you a 5.
Calculus AB- Princeton Review is said to be the best, but I purchased Barron’s because of the many practice problems and tests. Be warned- Barron’s is supposedly much harder than the actual test.

I second this.
