I'm taking AP Economics (both macro and micro) this year.
My teacher is a nice guy, but he is an absolute moron when it comes to teaching. I heard the past students said that his AP passing rate is one of the lowest in my school. Anyway, I want to major in economics or finance, so I'm not going to screw up the two AP exams.
So, I'm looking for some other sources to learn stuff on my own. Any suggestion? Does the Khan Academy videos serve well for the exam? Also, he gave us a copy of "Principles of Economics by N. Gregory Mankiw." He said that this is one of the most used textbook for college level intro econ class. Should I just swallow the whole book (not literally of course)? Should I purchase a review book? If so, what brand of review book would you recommend for this subject? Anything else I need? I'm shooting at University of Pennsylvania or Columbia, so I really need a good foundation of economics before I can do anything.
I'll appreciate it if anyone can leave some commends!
