Best AP Statistics Book

Apparently, after searching around, Barron's is commonly recommended in CC for AP Statistics. However, I seriously don't trust Barron's, their World History and Chem books are over-complicated and don't mimic the actual exam. Is it really actually good for AP Statistics?

What is a good AP Statistics book for someone who has trouble with math? I plan to self-study over the summer so the actual course won't make me rip my hair out for an A like Pre-Calculus did last year.

I don’t really like Barrons either, but I did find the statistics book helpful. But for me I needed the textbook. A good textbook is the one by Moore and McCabe.

get cliffnotes. theirs was the best and the practice multiple choice tests were almost exactly like the actual exam’s mc test. and also the stuff in it is actually useful. i got a 4, so i reccommend it.

I thought the actual AP textbook for us was more helpful than any review book.

I liked PR.

I highly highly recommend five steps to a 5 [Amazon.com: 5 Steps to a 5 AP Statistics, 2008-2009 Edition (5 Steps to a 5 on the Advanced Placement Examinations Series): Duane Hinders: Books](http://www.amazon.com/Statistics-2008-2009-Advanced-Placement-Examinations/dp/0071488561) and I strongly disliked barrons for self-study.

Stats was pretty good as far as Barrons go, but I thought the textbook we used, “The Practice of Statistics,” was the best resource.
