Im a senior in high school currently and I wish to persue photography at an art school. So far my favorites are SAIC, SVA, MICA, and RISD. I've visited SVA and it seemed like the place to be... Being in NYC and all. However, I have heard that photography wise SAIC is supposedly top two, and RISD is top three. MICA seems like a great school As well but i'm wondering if it's toO fine arts based, I've heard SAIC is more conceptually based and artsy. I've read a lot of reviews about all of the school, but I just feel they are outdated, so if anyone has any imput I'd love to hear it!!! Just not sure which is better and if it came down to SVA or SAIC which would be better, the better school or NYC? Also consider scholorships? Sorry for the capitalization etc errors... Just got this phone!

I’m not very familiar with those colleges, though I have heard great things about all of them. If you’re considering coming to the south at all, SCAD has amazing photography programs. It might be worth a look! One of my friends goes there and loves it. I’ll talk to my cousins in NY and see what they know about the schools you listed.

Yes I’ve considered SCAD but on the rankings I’ve heard the other schools are better, but I will check it out! Thanks so much!

If FIT has a photography program, you might consider it… I hear RISD’s an excellent school, by the way.
