Berkeley seems to have some departmental presense, including their own library and building. They are also building a new Asian Studies building. How good is this place's program considered?

coming from personal experience and having taken some AAS classes before...i'd say SFSU has a very good program..one of the first universities in the U.S. to teach Ethnic Studies/ Asian AMerican Studies..its an okay school, but it you're looking to go into that major..great program, great teachers..i'd recommend it

Thank you for all your help. A couple more questions: How did you determine what universities went on your list? Do you know of any liberal arts colleges with good Asian Studies/Chinese language programs?
