I'm leaning towards buying a North Face backpack because of its durability, and it also looks nice and simple. However, I'm not sure which type would be best. I'm looking for a backpack that has a good amount of space (enough for a laptop and a couple notebooks or something) but is also not too bulky. I would prefer to not look like a turtle walking around campus. Waterproof would be a plus. So which North Face woman's backpack do you guys think would be best? Or, is there any suggestions for another type of backpack that has what I'm looking for?

I’m more of a style over function type if gal so I have a VS Pink bag, but this might help you.

I still have my black North Face Jester that I bought during my freshman year of high school. They don’t sell that model anymore, but the [Jester II](http://www.thenorthface.com/catalog/sc-gear/equipment-daypacks/women-39-s-jester-ii.html) is still pretty small and has a laptop sleeve now. It’ll definitely carry everything you need for a reasonable price. (although for some reason, the Jester II doesn’t come in black)

Mine is north face. It’s wonderful except that it doesn’t have a place for a water bottle on the side. Other than that, it’s perfect.

Yours doesn’t have one? Bummer. :(

Mine has 1 on each side…
