So I know that there's CPSLO but I doubt they're going to accept me. I'm going to apply to CPPomona (I live near CPPomona), CSULB, but what other campuses are good for Electrical engineering?

I heard about Chico but that's pretty far up north, and that SDSU was alright... but anything else like out of state, etc?

For EE, I’d apply to both Cal Polys, SJSU, SDSU, and Long Beach. Don’t know anything about out-of-state schools. I’d imagine that if cost were a factor that wouldn’t be an option.

I considered UCI but I doubt I would get into UCB or UCLA but then there’s always UCR or something… haha. I’m mainly going to CSU’s because, from what I hear (from my friends that switched between them), they’re more applied than theoretical. I also haven’t started my personal statement yet so… if I want to go for a UC for fall '13 then I guess I need to get started on that right now lol.

I’d say Cal Poly Pomona would probably benefit you the most in the CSU system after Cal Poly SLO. If you got into UCI, you should highly consider it. The UC degree carries more weight because you probably won’t have an employer saying “Never heard of a UC” on the east coast as you might with a CSU. If you want to stay in California I’d say the Cal Polys are a great option with your hands-on interests.

I most likely will be staying in California (maybe move to NoCal to silicon valley), unless it completely goes bankrupt…, then I’ll move to somewhere else hahaha.
