Best Biology/Pre-med Schools

I was wondering on what schools had the best reputations for undergrad education in biology and pre-med.

Especially interested in Princeton, Yale, Columbia, Brown, Duke, UPenn, Stanford, UC Berkeley, Dartmouth, UCLA, UCSD, Cornell

I don't know, but when Alexandre reads this post, he will promptly explain that it goes:

Princeton, Yale, Columbia, Brown, Duke, UPenn, Stanford, UC Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, Cornell

Mt. Everest sized drop

Dartmouth

no alexandre will add umich to that list too

Stanford and Cornell are that far down?

UC Berkeley below UPenn AND Duke?

lol

All he did was recopy your list and remove Dartmouth.

CalTech is very good for Biology too, a large percentage of their graduates go to top graduate and medical schools.

Good point.

I was being sarcastic (not towards you). I didn't give any of them an order and all I did was just write Dartmouth below all the rest of them.

Harvard, Stanford, MIT & Johns Hopkins are the best for undergraduate biology. Also consider Princeton, Yale, Caltech, Cornell, and Berkeley.

Honestly, to get into a great med school, "great bio school" doesnt have much to do with your entrance. The overall reputation and what you did while you were at the top school (gpa and research/ extracurricular/ thesis) do. All of those are good, go to the best school you like the most.

If I were forced to list I would say that all are about equal, except for UCSD.

Why does UCSD not compare to the rest?

It doesnt have close to the same academic ratings, peer ratings, placement (WSJ), etc. I am not aware of UCSD placing a large number of grads into any top ten med school.
