Best Biotech Major...

<p>I do not want to teach or do research immediately but want to work in a Lab for biotech company. </p>

<p>Here are my choices at the univesities that have admitted me:</p>

<p>Microbiology
Biochemisty
Molecular Biology
Genetics</p>

<p>Like mirco but Ive been told by a biochemist that biochemisty is what they like and that bioinfomatics and computational biology is where its at.
He said with a bs in biochem you could make 35-40K. </p>

<p>Any advice or things to add???</p>

<p>Wow.. that's not much at all.</p>

<p>Biochem majors are all at the big pharma's and biotech companies like Pfizer, Novartis, Amgen, .. even Millenium.</p>

<p>I've seen internships advertised on Monster.com by Novartis for biochem and microbiology majors. I'd choose biochem to market.</p>
