<p>What's the best book to use to prep for the SAT, in terms of strategy? I already have a lot of practice problems, just looking for strategies and tips.</p>
<p>Also, what is the best time to take the SAT? I'm a junior and am unsure when to take my first SAT.</p>

<p>schedule your sat after you receive your psat score report. so maybe dec, january, etc. so once you get your psat score report you can prepare more and see what you get wrong. </p>

<p>Definitely take your first SAT during your junior year. Really, just check out the dates it's offered and plan a study schedule after you see what your fall semester's going to be like.</p>
