<p>My english section is my lowest and I'd like to raise my score. Which book is the best- Barrons, PR or the red book? Which one should I use to study?</p>
<p>Cracking the ACT (PR). I went from a 29 (April) to a 35 (June). I don’t credit that all to PR, though; I took a couple practice sections (from real tests) and analyzed them very thoroughly/went through all of the answers for patterns (they ask the same questions each time, but the words/stories are different. Does that make sense?). I am also kinda naturally keen on grammar. Also, learn as many of those idiomatic (?) phrases as you can (neither…nor; not only…but; etc.)</p>
