Hi, as I have mentioned in some previous post a month or so ago, I am looking to take pre-calc online and skip straight to calc. Im not sure if its a great idea, I had a pertty good Alg. II course got A+'s and teacher was hard but my real question was, since I am going to be self-learning Pre-Calc, what is the best book out there for this type of pre-calc self learning? I head about this book: Amazon.com: Precalculus: A Self-Teaching Guide (Wiley Self-Teaching Guides): Steve Slavin, Ginny Crisonino: Books but i dont know if its the right one. If any one knows any better self teaching guides out there for Pre-calc, please send me the link!!
Thanks :D

well, i am a junior right now, and i took alg 2 last yr; this yr i took precal and calc at the same time, u dont need precal for calc; everything u need is in alg 2.
i only find the trig part in precal beneficial for calc. yeah if u have strong alg, then u'll do well. i did well, im pretty sure i got a 4 or 5 on the ap exam =D gotta wait till summer to find out.
but i dont know any books that'll help. precal is basically a repetition of alg 2
