<p>What are the best books for the Lit and US History SAT IIs?? </p>
<p>I would like perfect scores on both (I aim high, i doubt i'll get them). I have heard that the Lit exam is relatively hard while the US history is easy. True or False?</p>

<p>PR's SAT II and (especially) AP books are pretty good compared to their SAT book. In fact, they have arguably the best AP Chem, AP Comp Sci, AP US, and SAT II US books out there. I'm sure there are more, but I'm no PR expert.</p>
<p>Anyway, I've heard that PR has the best SAT II US book, too.</p>
<p>User_name, for US History, DO NOT get Barron's. It has the most obscure info that won't end up on the test. I tried to prep with Barron's for the May SAT II and I just gave up after a couple practice tests because the questions are so random (I ended up with a 780, probably because of AP US and the test wasn't that hard). For Lit, I took that too in May and did not so well and I'm retaking in Oct using Kaplan's SAT II Lit (it has 8 practice tests and with Lit you just have to practice, a lot unless you have an innate ability to read 17th Century poetry (I certainly don't).</p>
