I'm a sophomore, and I've mainly been studying the SAT, but I realise I need to study the ACT too. I've been using 2learned.com to review, but I don't intend on using it as an actual study guide. Mainly to relearn concepts I might have forgotten. I've heard conflicting opinions of "Cracking the ACT" and "Barrons", so could y'all recommend me the most efficient books for studying AND practice tests? Thanks.

I worked with PR so far. Its good for english and math, but horrible for reading and science. I ordered Barron’s last night though so no comments about that yet.
The Real ACT, from the ACT, is good too. It doesn’t really give any major strategies, but you do get to know the test extremely well which makes it a lot easier to face it on test day.
Hope I helped.

I liked PR, but found that the tests were not at all like the actual ACT. The winning combo for me was getting the Real ACT Guide and then the Boost Your Score ACT software (found it on Amazon) that is compatible with it. What the software does is analyze your performance on the official tests in the book and then based on the areas that need work, it gives you lots of strategies and resources to work with. I liked that it was based all around official ACTs (it scores the free real ACT on the ACT website too) and the strategies were really good.
