Best Books for U.S History and Math 2?

I will be taking History in May and Math 2 in June, also the APUSH test in May.

So, what are the best books to prep with for...

SAT History
APUSH
Math 2

I am going to ask my APUSH teacher for suggestions, but I would like more input. As for Math, please give me good suggestions.

bump… i’m in same predicament and would like some help.

Someone want to pitch in?

For Math II, review with Barron’s. For practice tests, you should take both Barron’s tests and the official CB tests. You will probably score significantly higher than the Barron’s tests and perhaps lower than the CB tests.

So, for math 2, I should get both Barrons and The Official CB?

What about PR?

From what I’ve heard, PR’s book is decent but not as in-depth as Barron’s. If you’re aiming for a top score, Barron’s is going to be better for you.

and for ush? any ideas or doens’t matter since history is pretty much all the same.

yeah, do studying for SAT II in conjunction with studying for APUSH.

for math, id say barrons and collegeboard tests.

So for Math: Barrons and CC. When you guys mean CC? You mean the official Study Guide right? That has Math 1 too? Helpful?

History: Barrons? PR?

Do I need to buy separate books for APUSH and SAT?

yes… but why take Math I if you’re going to take Math II… makes no sense… honestly all it tells colleges if you take math I and II is that you don’t make stupid mistakes and can translate 1 plus 2 is 3 : 1+2=3

Yeah I know. I was asking about the book they were talking about. The book on college board has math 1 and 2 in same book.

[The Official SAT Subject Tests in Mathematics Levels 1 & 2 Study Guide ™](<a href=“Store App”>Store App)

[Amazon.com: Barron Math 2](http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Barron+Math+2&x=0&y=0)

The reviews say this book is really hard. That I like, but too many errors? Is this true?

Also, should I get the CD rom or not? Does it help?

For history please?

And my other Q’s? Someone?

Yes, thats the right book (the CB one). The book covering all subject tests may have different tests for Math II than that one, so you could look into that as well.

As for Barron’s, I can’t answer your question because I actually never used Barron’s myself. However, I would imagine any errors that are there aren’t a big deal, because it’s pretty much unanimously recommended here.

And I’m not much of a history person, so I can’t help you there :/

Oh, its ok. Thanks for the help so far. Im sold on getting Barrons.

Is this the newest one?

For U.S. History, AMSCO is the best followed by REA.

what’s a good prep book for physics subject test?

Princeton Review Physics Subject Test is the best. The author wrote PR’s Physics B and C, and those books are phenomenal.

I’d say do pageant notes for USH…
it covers everything

Sorry, this is a little off the topic. Hmm, when reading REA and other books, I came across quite a few names such as Dorothea Dir, Harriet Tubman… They are just to much to remember… Am I supposed to remember those names? What I should bear in mind to get 1 800? Thanks all ;)
