Ive heard taht the blue book is essential. I was wondering how the testmasters solution book was, and if books liek barrons, rocketreview, and maximum sat were any good?</p>
<p>I believe if you have (and use lol :p) the blue book you don't need anything else. I, for one, think there's nothing better out there.</p>

<p>I hear the blue book is definitely a must too, but I also really like my PR books. Practice is the most important thing, but it's also nice to have strategies to fall back on when you really get stuck. The two together are a good blend. I don't have those other books, though.</p>

<p>You can order it on Amazon.com, get it from collegeboard.com, or just travel to the bookstore and buy it there. I believe they sell it everywhere. it is called "The Official Study Guide for the New SAT."</p>

<p>No matter how hard they try, PR and Kaplan will never get the perfect SAT because who knows what ETS has behind the SAT that PR and Kaplan can't even begin to imagine.</p>

<p>I got the blue book + barron's and I think that combination is great . The real SAT questions are in the Blue but there is not enough explanation. In barron's book the math section contains everything you will need, it is well organized and every single thing is completely explained. But don't try to do barron's complete tests under timed conditions - they are more difficult than they should be and you'll panic</p>
