Best Books...

I know, I know, I should search the forum. But can I help it if I'm exhausted? lol. Anyways, any and all advice based on personal experience would be greatly appreciated! I'm looking to get two books for each test, preferably one that is more general and one that is more difficult and in-depth. Here are what subjects I need them in:

French Language

U.S. Government and Politics

English Literature

Biology

Thanks! Any links to previous threads would be appreciated too!

cliffs for biology.

Princeton for AP U.S. government and Politics and I second Cliffs for AP Bio.

cliffs for bio for sure

yea Cliffs for Bio.

Does anybody know any good ones for..

us history?

for u.s. history, I keep hearing amsco, but I like REA

History, I stick to my PR and REA. If you must choose one, definitely go with REA. :]

Any further word on French, Gov, English Lit, or Bio (besides Cliff's)?

Barron's for Bio is really good, but much more indepth which is what I like over Cliffs Bio. For Ap Goverment Cliffs Ap is very comprehensive, and PR and 5 steps are very good...but not everything is covered within them. Good Luck!

I say AMSCO over REA for U.S, history but use what you like best.

amsco or rea or both for us history

i highly recommend 5 steps to a 5 for biology...it worked for me.

APUSH - Amsco or Kaplan
Govt. - Princeton Review

US Govt. : Barron's (in-depth) and REA (general). Using both got me a 5.
Biology: Cliffs, definitely... And maybe PR as well? Cliffs alone got me a 5.
