<p>See, that’s the problem with Berkeley. All you have are cafe’s, ethnic restaurants, organic-hipster restaurants, and “I need to keep my calorie intake under -1” places. The closest diner is Saturn Cafe, which doesn’t even have the right to call itself a diner. </p>
<p>Yeah, when it comes to manly food, Berkeley is the last place I want to look.</p>
<p>Claremont Diner - down college past the safeway but a more legit diner for those craving traditionalist fare</p>
<p>Ann’s Kitchen on Telegraph and Dwight is decent and has pretty good prices.</p>
<p>The Drunken Boat on telegraph is good, not a diner, a bit higher prices</p>
<p>Ann’s Kitchen is exactly what you want. I also recommend La Note for a more upscale version of breakfast.</p>
