Best Business Schools

what are some good business schools (esp. for finance and economics) that I can get in with these SAT scores: M:700 V:620 W:720

I need some help, since i was rejected from Stern's.

Well, if you think that test scores are the only barometer for admissions, you're kidding yourself. What does the GPA, ECs, Rank look like? You have a 1320 regular SAT. That's a great score. It will get you into about all but the top business schools. Since you applied to Stern ED, i'm assuming that money isn't an object.

The US News top business schools are listed below.

I'd say just looking at test scores that these programs are good matches for you: Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Texas

Don't know if any of those sound appealing to you, but without knowing GPA, it's hard to gauge chances at selective schools (accept less than 50% of applicants)

Thanks for the post
Additions:
GPA is around 3.6
SAT II's: Math IIC: 680 U.S.History: 670
school does not rank

extracurriculars:
treasurer of FBLA for 2 yrs.
president of a debate team for 2 yrs.
Marching Band for 1 yr.
Math Team
volunteering hrs: around 150

Awards: NHS, perfect attendance

Hmmm, weak in the ECs/Awards department. That will hurt at the privates compared to the publics, which are generally numbers based. GPA isn't very high, but not too bad. I'm going to stick with those 4 schools I gave you. Don't think you're getting into Emory, WUSTL, Cornell, MIT, Penn, USC, CMU, UNC-CH, Berkeley, or UVA. Of course, it wouldn't hurt to apply to a couple of those if you truly love the school.

Make sure to apply to Indiana, they have a fantastic business school, and you should get a 7K scholarship per year, an invitiation into the business school as a freshman, and an invitationto the honors college.

thanks again
but more additions:
weighted GPA: around 5.0
took 6 AP classes: AB Calc-5, US History-4
others: AP Lit, AP Stats, AP Calc BC, AP Spanish

NF318...your only weakness is your EC's and at top-tier business schools those mean a lot. Honestly, that is what didn't get you into Stern from my perspective. Because even though the SAT score is low for Stern, they could've made an exception if your EC's were strong, but they aren't. Anyway, don't reach so high. You should apply to IUB, Penn State, and Cornell (what the heck-write damn good essays). Also, what do you plan to major in?

I plan to major in finance and economics

For finance, IUB is ranked 7th..and Penn State 14th...any school in the top 25 is fair game. I want to do finance as well and have applied to IUB, PSU, gl.

yeah, i agree. i already applied to PSU and is waiting for their reply.

Does anyone know the rankings of the best Real Estate schools?

Texas would be a reach for you - it's tough for OOS.

do i have a chance at any of these schools: uva, michigan, cmu, bc, notre dame, wisconsin

reaches, matches....

BIG REACH: Notre Dame, Virginia
REACH: Michigan, Wisconsin, Carnegie Mellon, Boston College

are there any liberal arts colleges that offer good bus. programs?

University of Iowa is a school you can get into, and has a great Economics program. The finance isn't bad, but not up to par with say a Stern.

out of all the schools listed above, which is probably the best one that i can get into?

do i have a shot at Wake Forest? how is there finance/economics by the way?

try University of Georgia (Terry College of Business)

what is the rank for Wake Forest's finance program?
