<p>Well I am really considering majoring in accounting and I want to know what Cal State has the best accounting program. I have looked through quite a few threads on CC as well as some on other sites and I have yet to find a clear cut school. So I would really appreciate any help you guys can give me.</p>

<p>Last I looked, Cal State University Northridge had an excellent business program – Accounting included.</p>
<p>Yeah, I have heard some good things about Northridge as well. But would you say Northridge has the best business program out of all the Cal States? Because I have heard that San Diego State, Fullerton and Long Beach all offer decent business programs as well.</p>
<p>SDSU has the best business program out of all the CSU’s. But for accounting, I think any of the schools you mentioned should be fine.</p>
<p>That’s nice to hear but if you had to rank the Cal State’s, how would you rank them? (In terms of business/accounting)</p>
<p>call up the college recruiting office for the big accounting firms, ask them which they do on-campus recruiting at.</p>
<p>I graduated from Cal State Hayward (now East Bay) in the 80’s. Strong business school and the accounting graduates had many choices from the on campus recruiters. I agree with the post above - I would use the number of on campus recruiters as an indicator of the strength of the accounting program</p>
