Best campus to live on?

Where would you recommend living as an incoming freshman?

As a person who has lived close to Rutgers all of her life, I recommend College Ave if you are into the party scene. There is a lot of life on College Ave, because it is in the city of New Brunswick. If you prefer quieter places, choose Busch, Livingston, or Cook/Douglass. I hope that helps!!! Good Luck!!! :)

You can always take a bus to College Ave. Neilson is by far the best dining hall apparently and its a 2 minute walk from Cook/Douglass (I think?). In all seriousness that is something I would take into consideration.

College ave goes fast - if you haven’t picked it already you’ll probably never get it. This is late to be requesting housing. The last freshman in get livingston. Don’t get your hopes up for college ave or busch if you didn’t pick them yet

arn’t engineers guaranteed housing on busch?

^ no, it all depends on when you apply for housing. it’s first come first serve. there is special interest housing on busch for engineers (barr and mattia hall), but there’s no guarantee.

When did housing applications begin? I was just emailed one last week from Rutgers.
