Best Case for a Video iPod?

I've decided that I'm going to get a video iPod for Christmas (shopping now, while there are deals on the last gen!), but I can't settle on a case for it. I don't know anyone with a video iPod, and am really kinda clueless about cases for the full-size iPods as I only have a mini and a shuffle. I'm looking for something that has really good protection, so I carry it with me and not have to worry about it. The main cases I'm looking at are the iSkin Clario, the Marware TarilVue and the Marware Sportsuit basic. I'm also considering the iSkin eVo3, but I'm not a fan of silicon skins. Are their any others that I should be looking into?

the DLO action jacket is what I have. It's kept my iPod flawless, and I'm not what you'd call the most careful person with it. I've dropped it on the sidewalk and kicked it by mistake, and that's not the worst of it. Still in perfect condition.

I've had a video ipod since April. I think I have an ezo case or something. I don't remember what is was called. I don't use it though...

I have the Belkin flip case. I think it's pretty good, and almost never take the iPod out, plus I can use the clip to clip the ipod to my jeans. In my opinion, plastic cases suck. My ipod used one before the belkin and dust got under the plastic and scratched the screen. Buy the case along with the iPod or you'll regret it, because they scratch really easily.
I also have cases from Five Below. They sell iPod video and nano cases for between $5 and $3.

I had the case for my mini about a month before I actually got the player, and the case for my shuffle about a week before I got it. I have a basic silicon skin on the shuffle, and hate how sticky it is. I switch between a DLO mini fling and an Otterbox (waterproof plastic shell) on the mini.
I'm not ordering one until I can decide on a case!

I've been getting all my research from iLounge, but some cases they give good ratings seem to give people problems with scratching with long-term use and others that they give bad ratings for being "generic" actually look pretty protective.
It looks like the most protective thing is the eVo3, but I'm just not sure.

I got my iPod with those Apple iPod socks, but I don't really like them because you have to take it out of the sock to use it. One of myfriends has one of those silicon skins which works pretty well.

.-_-.

I've got a nano..
I currently use the Belkin pink leatherish case. It's soft but it's pretty protective i think. When I go running on the treadmill, I just put it on top the treadmill in the belkin case, instead of taking it out on putting it in an armband, and it has fallen on our wooden floor many many times because I accidently kept tugging the earphone line thing. And there has been no dents or scratches so that's a good thing i guess.

As for what not to get are those silicon skins. Icant remember what brand it was but it was REALLY cheap and came wth a free armband. However, when I got dust between the silicone cover and the ipod, the litlte dust particles SCRATCHED my ipod. I know. Dust.

Oh! So you have to nano version of my first mini case! ;)

Anyways, I went with the iSkin. I'm going to take and put a clear film on the ipod first, so that way it's protected even if something gets under the case.
