Best CC for UCB Computer Science Transfer?

Hi all,

I am planning to enroll in one of the following community colleges in San Francisco Bay area in Spring 2011: De Anza College, City College of San Francisco, and Diablo Valley College.

Question:
Assuming housing/transportation/daily-living-costs aren't considered in determining their ranking, which of those three colleges is the best for a student hoping to transfer to UCB as a Computer Science major?

I would like to really appreciate if you can provide details in comparison. For example:
1. Quality and office hour availability of faculties and counselors in computer science and Math department
2. Quality and the availability of computer labs
3. Availability of registration for computer science and other courses
4. Quality or/and number of clubs for geeks (programming club, web masters club, etc.)
5. Applicants and admission rate for UCB computer science
6. Whether the primary goal of the students is to transfer or to get a job in this industry
7. Any other reasonable factors for fair comparison

If you transferred to UCB with Computer Science major from CCC, I assume you would have very interesting stories and tips. I would very much appreciate if you share them!

Thank you for reading this thread,

Cheers!

another criteria maybe most important one: which college offers the most prereqs?

Btw: CCSF offers concurrent enrollment with Cal, so you can take some courses over there. could be an advantage

How about De Anza College?

I have talked to each admission officers; I’ve researched their organizations and class registrations, etc. However, I couldn’t find the info about concurrent enrollment with UCB. Anybody knows?
