Hi,

I was wondering which CCs are the best to get into in Pennsylvania, I'm considering Northampton Community College, Montgomery County Community College or Harrisburg Area Community College. Are these good schools? Has anyone been to any of these CCs? Or does anyone have any other better CC suggestions in Penn State. I'm planning on taking a 2-year transfer program and I hope to find a good community college with links or articulation agreements with good universities.

Thank you very much.

Nobody from Penn State? :(

Perhaps try to ask this in the Penn State college forum, since I presume you are trying to transfer into a school like Penn State main campus.

Starting at a community college is a great way to get a good educational foundation and save money before transferring. Most colleges welcome community college graduates. Here’s a list of some of the colleges you can transfer to from Northampton Community College: [Articulation Agreements](http://www.northampton.edu/Student-Resources/Academic-Advising/Transfer-Advising-Services/Articulation-Agreements.htm)

Community colleges are local schools, usually lacking housing. People go to the one in their area. At least some offer lower prices for county residents because they’re public colleges subsidized by taxpayer funds. What state and county do you live in?

Northampton is a top community college and has some top notch programs-some of which are competitive to get in. Northampton also has dormitories for students who attend from outside of the county-those also require an application since there are more students who want to live on campus than there are roo,s available.
