<p>I'm planning on getting a different carrier for my cell phone since I'm down here now. For those who have been here a while, and have used their cell phones...what is the best carrier that gets the best reception on campus or around the La Jolla area?</p>
<p>P.S. I have Cingular and I usually only get around 2 bars of reception.</p>

<p>I've never had trouble with Verizon in the La Jolla area.</p>
<p>Actually, maybe in a few lecture halls but... It's mostly good.</p>
<p>T-mobile is working for me.</p>
<p>verizon seems to be somewhat patchy, but overall pretty reliable.</p>
<p>Sprint hasn't failed me so far.</p>
