Best Chance

I really love AU, but my chances of getting in are weak because of my average/low-ish gpa and act. My extracurricular’s are really strong as well as awards/honors-but i don’t think it can make up for my sophomore year.

What college in the university is the least competitive to get accepted into/ what major has the least amount of people trying to apply to it. I really want to go here so I’m going to try everything I can to get it.
Thanks!

your spirit is great! make sure you let them feel it in your application. i don't know for sure, but maybe CAS ? when we applied, they had said they accepted kids first, and the specific school was not an issue at that point in the process, but perhaps, that has changed?? ask someone in admissions. good luck! it's a wonderful place!

At AU, you don't apply to a specific college, you just apply to the university. That being said, you can see how 2006-07 freshmen compared in the different colleges (this is from AU's Academic Data Reference Book):

Kogod is by far the easiest to get into. Ive been far from impressed with the Kogod students on campus. So much so, that I would even pick our econ program over the business school. The good news is that there are more scholarships for students in the business school than any other school at AU. Additionally, you will probably make the most money if you become a business major(you actually learn things).
