Yes, it looks like I'm just trying to get into an elite university. But I have a separate rationale for each university, and I'd honestly be happy at any one of them; I just need to get into at least one. Please give me advice.

i would not ed based on which one you would be most likely to get into in all honesty, choose the one that you actually are in love with and will not regret applying ed to…your SATs are awesome, as are your ecs, but there are quite a few B’s on your transcript (just being blunt) and your UW GPA is your downfall, especially since that matters more than your weighted GPA…all of these schools are really hard to predict but i think your best bet would be Vanderbilt and maybe NW? they’re all really reaches for anyone, but i’d say the rest are high reaches only bc of your GPA. i’m not 100% sure, no one really can be, but seriously though, visit them all and see which one you like best and apply there, since you never know, you might just get in! good luck :)

Thanks for your input! Vandy, huh? Considering I want to do Premed, I could definitely do worse. ;)

I’m keeping this post up.

Bump! Bump! Bump!

Vandy is the easiest school to get into on your list, is that your question?

Yeah, basically. Thanks!

Bumpity bumparoo

Class of 2016 ED Admit rates

Columbia 20%
Brown 19%
Penn 25%
Duke 25%
Cornell 33%
Vanderbilt 31%
Northwestern 33%
WUSTL

If you really have those stats just write a good essay and apply to all regular or non-binding early if available. Then look at what you get in financial aid, merit scholarships at each one. You should be in at most if not all. Best friend got 50k a year from Vandy regular decision with no hook and good but significantly lower stats.

Thanks for your input!

Honestly you are such a qualified applicant that you should apply ED to the one you like best, b/c even without ED you have great (relatively speaking, Ivy/High caliber school admissions are hit and miss no matter how qualified you are) chances.

Bumppppppppp

Vandy and WUSTL are your best bets – WUSTL is EXCELLENT for pre-meds and though it is highly selective, it REALLY considers people like you (you know, who are very smart but lower GPA). With both you can’t go wrong. Which one would you ED – That’s the question – Vandy’s awesome too.

Thanks! Bump.
