Best/cheapest place to live in in the summer in cornell

Any suggestions? I might be doing the DYO program so i'll have to stay during the summer. my pay is as low as it can almost go so i need a cheap place =(. preferably somewhere close to campus as i will work in vet medical building -___-

A lot people will probably be looking for subletters....you might be able to get a good deal if you go that way

i have an apt available for sublet during the summer. it sits on north campus on stewart ave. PM me if youre interested

whats the best time to sublet? does it get cheaper towards the end of the yr? cause right now i checked on craig and facebook and they are really expensive.

some fraternities also rent out rooms cheaply...

prices tend to go down later in the year as students become more eager to find a subletter....or, the prices may not go down but you may see them willing to include utilities or internet in the rent

sooo true. It can get down to $250 or $300 a month. People who want to sublet their place start getting into the "well it's better than nothing" attitude.

for those who know/had experience with sublets. do most go down to 250$ near the end or is 250$( including utilities) considered to be a good deal?

^^considering the average rent is $600+/month....$250 is a very good deal

right now its about 400$ /month with utilities on avg or low 400s. i have no idea how desperate people will get near the ennd since its only march haha. thats why im wondering.
