Best Chief Justice is from Berkeley

Kudos to you guys for having Earl Warren, the guy responsible for de-segregation, Miranda rights, civil rights, and the increased separation of church and state. He is by far my favorite Berkeley alumni.

Earl Warren was appointed by a republican conservative president Eisenhower. You think John Roberts might end up being like Warren and have a heart after all? Or would he turn out like Rhenquist or Scalia or Thomas.

I disagree regarding Earl Warren being the "best" chief justice--perhaps (and a strong emphasis on perhaps) in modern times, but overall? I would beg to differ. John Marshall is the best chief justice.

Earl warren is NOT the "best" It's really relative. I can argue that Rehnquist was the best because he was complete opposite of warren. Warren made really controversial decisions and i'm not to fond of "judicia; activism" at least to such degree. Many today don't agree with Miranda Rights and the technicality cases up on the supreme court that time. I'm thinking this is a result of liberal bias.
John Marshall set everything up for now whether u r liberal or conservative u'll probably agree with him.

Earl Warren stuck his nose up to The Man. He took on police officers (who are tyrannical street dictators), championed civil rights, ended segregation, established a constitutional right to privacy, ended mandatory prayers in public schools, etc.

Rehnquist is a modern-day Jefferson Davis.

SCOTUS members shouldnt have hearts

they should be Constitution computers that every once in a while use their brains
